Refund policy
TravelTides China – Tour Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. To ensure a fair and transparent process for our guests, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy for all TravelTides China tours and services.
1. Cancellation Policy
30 days or more before departure → Full refund minus any non-refundable costs already incurred (e.g., visa fees, hotel prepayments).
15–29 days before departure → 70% refund of tour price minus non-refundable costs.
7–14 days before departure→ 50% refund of tour price minus non-refundable costs.
Less than 7 days before departure → No refund.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable once booked and paid:
Visa application fees
Flight tickets and train tickets once issued
Certain hotels during peak season
Customized itinerary planning fees (if applicable)
3. How to Request a Cancellation
Please email us at traveltidesglobal@gmail.com with:
Your booking reference number
Name used for booking
Tour start date
Reason for cancellation
Our team will confirm eligibility for a refund and provide instructions for processing.
4. Refund Processing
Once your cancellation is approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks or credit card providers may take additional time to post the funds.
5. Special Cases
If the cancellation is due to force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), TravelTides China will offer a credit voucher valid for 12 months or a partial refund based on actual costs incurred.
For group tours, a minimum number of participants is required; if not met, we will offer a full refund or alternative tour date.
