Trip Itinerary

Day1:Grand Canal History & Hangzhou Highlights Tour

Your private guide will greet you at the airport or train station. Upon arrival, enjoy a Southern Song Dynasty Snacks Banquet, featuring flower tea, lotus root starch, Hangzhou-style cat's-ear noodles, fried bread sticks with shallots, and local moon cakes — accompanied by traditional Chinese instrumental music and a tea ceremony.

In the afternoon, visit Lingyin Temple, one of China’s most important Buddhist temples, famous for its pagodas and Buddhist grottoes. Continue with a relaxing trip to West Lake (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Hangzhou’s most iconic landmark. Stroll around the lakeside and enjoy a West Lake cruise to Fairy Island, immersing yourself in the scenery praised in Chinese poetry.

Day 2:Hangzhou Ancient Highlights & Tea Culture Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, start your day with a visit to Meijiawu Tea Plantation, the birthplace of China’s finest Dragon Well (Longjing) Tea. Walk through the tea fields, watch local farmers hand-pick fresh leaves, and enjoy a tasting of authentic Longjing tea.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal (UNESCO World Heritage). Take a Grand Canal cruise and imagine the bustling life along the waterway in ancient times while witnessing Hangzhou’s modern development.

Later, head to the Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion, where you can paint your own traditional oiled-paper umbrella. Watch artisans craft teapots, fans, umbrellas, and other traditional Chinese handicrafts.
