Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou

Welcome to Guangzhou, the City of Flowers. Upon arrival, your TravelTidesChina private guide will meet you at the airport or train station. A comfortable private vehicle and professional driver will then take you into the heart of the city, beginning your springtime exploration with ease.
Start at Guangxiao Temple, where the serene Buddha halls are filled with worshippers offering fresh flowers in quiet devotion. Step into the adjoining courtyard, where vibrant Yellow Bells form a sea of golden blossoms, bringing the space to life.
Continue to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall for one of Guangzhou’s most iconic spring scenes. As 29 towering kapok trees burst into bloom, their fiery red flowers stand in striking contrast to the hall’s cool blue tiles, creating a truly unforgettable view.
Stroll along Lingyuan West Road beneath arching kapok trees. Watch as the blossoms fall with a powerful drop, symbolizing the heroic spirit long associated with this flower.
End the day on Beijing Road with a hands-on cultural experience. Join a local craftsman in a Pipe Cleaner Flower workshop and create your own kapok flower - a meaningful souvenir to take home.
Day 2: Qingyuan
Gulong Gorge Nature Adventure
Enjoy a smooth day trip to Qingyuan’s Gulong Gorge, accompanied by your guide for a seamless experience.
Climb mountain paths to reach the Gulong Nine Waterfalls and feel the refreshing spray of the Wanzhang Cliff Waterfall. In early spring, layered blossoms cover the slopes, creating a stunning three-dimensional landscape.
Ride the Dengfeng Elevator for a swift three-minute ascent to Yuntianboba at 530 meters above sea level. Walk along the Glass Walkway and cross the Glass Bridge, gazing down into the canyon below. At the Glass UFO Platform, admire the dramatic sight of water cascading from the high cliffs into the valley.

Enjoy a lively Lion Dance performance, where martial arts, rhythm, and movement combine to bring the lion to life in a burst of color and energy.
Continue to Qinghui Garden, one of Lingnan’s finest classical gardens. In spring, blooming magnolia, camellia, and azaleas fill the air with fragrance, complementing tranquil ponds, lush greenery, and elegant garden design.
Wrap up the day on Huagai Pedestrian Street, where you can browse shops and sample local snacks (at your own expense) before returning to Guangzhou.
Day 4: Guangzhou Departure
